Lovers of old steam trains are offered something special in Steyr.
Austria's oldest 760mm narrow-gauge railway. Since 1889, the 17 km long route connects the city of Steyr with the towns of Grünburg and Steinbach / Steyr. It leads through beautiful forests and meadows along the Steyr, one of the cleanest rivers in Austria. The locomotives and wagons have been restored with great attention to detail, so that you hardly notice that it has been in use for over 100 years.
Transportation of bicycles: Your bicycles are gladly transported free of charge.
